Everyone knows Jokers are wild. But what if they could actually change cards?

The Influencers is a three-phase signed card routine from Elias D'Sastre that builds beautifully from a clean, direct card change all the way through to a finale that leaves the spectator holding something they will keep long after the show is over. Each phase answers the sceptic in the room, escalating the impossibility one step at a time until there is simply nothing left to explain.

Here is how the routine plays out:
A card is signed and lost in the deck. The spectator can shuffle it themselves. The two Jokers are removed and the deck is spread face down on the table. You name a card, the spectator pulls any face-down card from the spread, and it goes between the two Jokers. With a twist, it becomes the card you named. Impressive, but a sceptic might think they just happened to pull the right card.

So you offer to do it again, this time clearly showing the wrong card before placing it between the Jokers. The spectator sees the face themselves before the change. The Jokers transform it into the correct card anyway. No question of luck this time.

For the finale, another card goes between the Jokers, but you forget to name a suit or value. The Jokers turn it completely blank. That blank card goes back between the Jokers and the spectator names the card they signed at the very beginning. One final twist. The blank card becomes their signed card. The signed card is their souvenir to keep.

Three phases, each one more impossible than the last, all built around a premise that audiences immediately understand and immediately love.
