GILDED Good Pals Purple Foil Logo Playing Cards
Limited Edition of 125 copies, individually numbered
Purple gets overlooked. Good Pals decided to fix that. The Purple Logo deck is the latest addition to the Good Pals Logo Volume 2 collection, joining the Gold King Logo deck to complete the set. Following on from the warmly received Chancers and Halloween Tales releases, Good Pals brings the same playful and considered design philosophy to a colour that has been criminally underrepresented in the custom playing card world. This deck exists because purple deserves better. And once you see it in person, you will completely agree.
The design approach is confident and cohesive. Purple foil runs across the card backs and the tuck case, catching the light beautifully and giving the deck a rich, premium finish that photographs and performs equally well. The face cards carry purple ink throughout: courts, jokers, hearts, and diamonds all rendered in a colour palette that is striking without being garish, and distinctive without sacrificing readability.
The court cards take a more traditional non-skeletal approach to their design, making this a deck that works equally well for card games, close-up magic, and cardistry. The fully custom artwork runs through every element of the deck without exception, and the matte tuck box with its foil treatment has exactly the kind of tactile quality you want when you pick it up.
Production is by WJPC on cardistry stock with a butter finish, which means the handling is as satisfying as the look. Each copy carries a numbered seal from 001 to 150 and purple gilded edges that make the deck genuinely striking when the stack is squared up in your hand.
Only 125 copies are available. Once this edition is gone, it is gone.
